Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) is a community-based organization that provides a variety of services related to child care. CCR&R does not provide child care programs itself. Instead, they offer services that are helpful to parents, child care providers, employers and the community. CCR&R is available to all, regardless of race, color, sex, religious beliefs, national origin or handicapping conditions
CCR&R helps parents find quality child care, based on the unique needs of their family, such as geographic location, age of child or times of day. Our services are free of charge and parents can contact CCR&R as many times as needed to find care for their family, All information given to CCR&R is kept strictly confidential.
CCR&R helps providers become licensed, receive grants to purchase needed items, administer trainings, provide health care consultations and offer technical assistance.
CCR&R helps the community by providing the necessary child care working parents need to maintain their jobs. We supply businesses with our brochures, and resources they may require.
The New York State Office of Children & Family Services partially funds CCR&R agencies in New York State. Other sources of financial support for CCR&R are foundation grants, private donations and training fees
