What is Child Care Resource & Referral?
CCR&R is a community-based organization that provides a variety of services related to child care. CCR&R does not provide child care programs itself. Instead, they offer services that are helpful to parents, child care providers, employers and the community. CCR&R is available to all, regardless of race, color, sex, religious beliefs, national origin or handicapping conditions.
The New York State Office of Children & Family Services partially funds CCR&R agencies in New York State. Other sources of financial support for CCR&R are foundation grants, private donations and training fees.

CCR&R can help parents find care for their children when parents are working, attending school or training programs to prepare for entering the work force. To provide this service, CCR&R collects and maintains up-to-date information about daycare centers, family day care homes, group family day care homes, and school-age child care programs.
When you call or visit CCR&R to ask for help in finding child care, a child care specialist will talk with you about your child care needs and options, and then refer you to local child care programs that most closely match your family?s needs. Referrals are made to child care programs that meet state and local regulatory requirements. CCR&R does not recommend one program over another. CCR&R Specialists can provide you with information about various types of programs, costs, financial assistance and guidelines for selecting child care, but the final choice is always your responsibility.
Where do I Find Help to Pay for Child Care?
