The Senior Statistics class presented their work to a team of Community Action employees. They researched Community Action and compiled over 250 surveys from Community Action clients to create a series of graphs and pie charts to show the statistics of Community Action’s services. We were all very impressed with all of their work!
The Empty Bowls event was sponsored by the Albion Middle School art students. Attendees paid $5 to attend the student led service learning program about hunger in our community and were able to take a handmade pottery bowl of their choice home with them. Over $500 in proceeds was donated to Community Action in Albion’s food pantry. A big thank you to the Albion Middle School and Mrs. Feder’s art class for their continued support of Community Action in hosting this event.
