Open House

The Daily News reports that the “Mending Homes Together” partnership between Orleans Habitat for Humanity, Community Action Angels and BOCES Construction Trades classes will have an open house from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday at the current construction site at 170 North Gravel Rd., on the corner of Stork Street in Medina.

The public is invited to see the renovation work that has been done on this house which will soon be the new home of the Cody family from Medina. This is the 13th and the latest Habitat for Humanity partner family in Orleans County.

Orleans Habitat has joined with Community Action of Orleans & Genesee and the BOCES Construction Trade classes under the direction of teacher Jake Daniels to form the Mending Homes Together group, which is already planning its next project.
