Community Action of Orleans & Genesee is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and has served low-income and disadvantaged families for over 40 years. Community Action programs are designed to empower as well as provide opportunity to those who are not yet self-sufficient. Programs like Head Start work on long-term goals by educating children and short-term goals by working with parents in a variety of areas like education, housing and nutrition. Many programs use short and long-term benefits (e.g., HEAP Application Assistance and Weatherization Services), referrals (Emergency Services) or education (Employment Training programs) to help people achieve self-sufficiency.

We would appreciate any assistance via tax-deductible financial donations and contributions of goods and services. In addition, if know you of someone who could use our help, please contact us. Thank you and we look forward to talking with you soon.

Ed Fancher,
Executive Director
